Ottawa's Canada Day 2017 in pictures

Canada Day 2017 in the capital produced mixed feelings. Long lineups for security and buses put a damper on things almost as much as the weather, but it didn't stop people from flocking to Parliament Hill.

Canada Day 2017 in the capital produced mixed feelings.

Long lineups for security and buses put a damper on things almost as much as the weather, but it didn't stop people from flocking to Parliament Hill.

Decked out head to toe in rain gear, many still managed to enjoy the country's birthday party in Ottawa.

Here are some of the best photos of the day.
