Driving through the downtown core can be difficult during Ottawa Race Weekend, so make sure to plan your route around the road closures.

Here's a handy list of all race weekend road closuresby date, starting with the road closure that will be in effect all weekend.

ALL WEEKEND LONG

Queen Elizabeth Drive between Laurier Avenue and Somerset Street West will be closed from 8 a.m. Friday to 6 p.m. on Sunday, including the Laurier Avenue east off ramp. Access to the National Arts Centre will be strictly controlled.

SATURDAY, MAY 24

• Laurier between Metcalfe and Nicholas: 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Elgin between Lisgar and Wellington: 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Elgin between Lisgar and Frank: 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
