Candidate runs against his old boss in Rideau-Goulbourn

It'll be an interesting race to watch in Rideau-Goulbourn, where incumbent Scott Moffatt's former employee is the only person running against him.

Incumbent Scott Moffatt seeking a 3rd mandate for Rideau-Goulbourn

Rideau-Goulbourn has a population of 29.446 people living in 10,445 homes.

It'll be an interesting race to watch in Rideau-Goulbourn, where incumbent Scott Moffatt's former employee is the only person running against him.

Moffattwasfirst elected in 2010, and in the 2014 election he captured 62 per cent of the vote.

This time he's facing only one challenger,David Brown, who worked in Moffatt'soffice before deciding to run against him. Brown is also president of theRichmond Agricultural Society.

Big issues in rural Rideau-Goulbourninclude suburban development spilling infrom Stittsville and Barrhaven andcropping up in villages like Richmond.
