Charlottetown police lay charge in alleged road rage incident

A Charlottetown man has been charged with assault in relation to what city police are calling a road rage incident last month.

Charlottetown police say a complaint was received on June 11 from a male driver who said he was cut off by a man driving a motorcycle.

At a stop on the bypass highway near Malpeque Road, the motorcycle driver parked and then allegedly punched and spit on the driver of the other vehicle.

The 54-year-old motorcycle driver is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
