Move over Road to Avonlea Twitter users have hundreds of new ideas for P.E.I.-inspired TV show titles, thanks to the#MakePEIaTVShowhashtag.

The hashtagwas started by Adam Ramsay, an Islanderwho works in marketing and communications.

"I think it lets people see that there's more to P.E.I. then they might assume," said Ramsay.

"The nice thing about this hashtagis if you see it somewhere else in the country you see that Islanders have a really good sense of humour and a really good sense of humour about themselves."

Ramsay launched the hashtagSaturday afternoon. By Sunday, it was trending Canada-wide.

The tweets draw from a wide range of inspiration.

Somemake reference to current events.

Many make reference to the Island's geography.

And, of course, there are lots of references to"Island-isms" and Island culture.

"It's been incredible," said Ramsay. "I've been really impressed with the amount of different tweets and different ideas that people have come up with."
