Carr's recognized for excellent shellfish

Carr's Oyster Bar of Stanley Bridge P.E.I. took home the first Restaurants Canada Shellfish Excellence Award at the P.E.I. Shellfish Festival over the weekend.

This new award aims to recognize one Island restaurant a year that excels at promoting P.E.I. seafood.

Restaurants Canada cited Carr's quality, innovation and authenticity. The North Shore restaurant has been serving P.E.I. oysters for 17 years.

Carr's received a $500 cheque, and will be featured in a new Restaurants Canada MENU magazine that launches this fall.
