Giant Tiger coming to Charlottetown

Charlottetown will be getting a new Giant Tiger store next year, according to a news release from the company.

"Residents of Charlottetown have been asking for a Giant Tiger for some time now and we are happy to finally break ground here and are looking forward to being part of the community," said president and COO Thomas Haig.

The store will be at 449 University Ave., and is scheduled to open July 15, 2017.

Currently, the only Giant Tiger store on the Island is in Summerside.
