Power restored across P.E.I.

For much of the day, power was out on several parts of the Island, including Charlottetown.

Maritime Electric restored power to about 900 people

Power has been restored acrossP.E.I. For much of the day,about 900 people werewithout power on the island.

High winds hadknocked trees onto power lines in Charlottetown, Hunter River and Kensington, said Maritime Electric spokeswoman Kim Griffin.
