Severe thunderstorm watch called off for P.E.I.

Environment Canada has rescinded a severe thunderstorm watch for Queens and Kings counties in P.E.I. for Friday evening.

Earlier in the day a thunderstorm watch had been issued.

There are currently no weather alerts in effect for the Island.
