Day 2 of P.E.I. campaign: More nominations, health-care platforms unveiled

Here are some of the campaign activities scheduled for March 28.

Nomination meetings continuing

Here are some of the campaign activities scheduled for March 28.

The Liberal Partypresented its health platform in Charlottetown at 9:30 a.m. in the Murchison Centre. Leader Wade MacLauchlan campaignedin districts 5, 6, 7 and 17.

The PC Party made the first of a series ofhealth care policy proposals with Leader Dennis King and local candidates at the Hillsborough Community Centre at 2 p.m.

King spent theremainder of the day campaigning in his own district. The nomination meeting for District 25 was at St. Luke's Hall in O'Leary Corner at 6:30 p.m.

Green Leader Peter Bevan-Baker started the day in District 17 and campaigned with fellow MLA Hannah Bell in Charlottetown. He was in Summerside for a fundraiser later in the day. In the evening he attended the District 10 nomination meeting and a Young Greens event at UPEI.

The NDP held a group nomination meeting at Murphy's Community Centre in Charlottetown which startedat 7 p.m.
