The province's largest nightclub is searching for ways to stay open after creditors seized its booze supply last week.

The province's largest nightclub is searching for ways to stay open after creditors seized its booze supply last week.

A sheriff and moving van showed up at Myron's Restaurant and Pub in Charlottetown on Thursday to take the liquor.

The sheriff said he was acting on order from the Canada Revenue Agency.

The business owes more than $173,000 in back taxes and unpaid bills.

Owner Jason MacDonald of Charlottetown kept the popular establishment open over the long weekend.

MacDonald said he is searching for a way to reduce debt and to keep the business going, possibly under a new name.
