Some kids in Stratford got a chance to ring in the new year a bit early.

Their countdown at the library in Stratford might have been 12 hours before the official year end but it didn't matter to them.

Staff and childrencounted down to the noon hour and celebrated by blowing horns.

It was the first time the library held the event for little oneswho can't stay up untilmidnight.

Staff say it was abig hit, and they are looking at doing it again next year.
