Friday is the deadline for public feedback on the first stage of development of a new Water Act. The government has been collecting comments from Islanders since July.

Minister of Communities, Land and Environment, Robert Mitchellsays the response has been great, withabout 60 presentations at public consultations andface-to-face meetings, and another 60 or more submissions viaemail, fax andletters.
