Nearly $9K of copper wire stolen from SaskPower

RCMP are investigating after copper wire worth $9K was stolen from a SaskPower site south of Yorkton.

RCMP are investigating atheft of approximately$9,000worth of copper wire.

The material was stolenfrom a SaskPowersite situatedsouth of Yorktonoff Highway 9.

According to the Yorkton Rural RCMP,the break-inand subsequenttheft occurred between the evening of May 4 and the afternoon of May 6.

The RCMP have asked the public to come forward if they have any information.
