It's time for Regina's annual November agriculture storm. The Canadian WesternAgribition begins today. Over the years it has evolved from a livestock show and rodeo, to major trade show with concerts as well. Now you can add one more to the list full-contact joust.

"It really has the elements of bull riding where you don't know what's going to happen," said Agribition CEO MartySeymour. "Imagine a couple of knights running at each other as fast as they can carrying a long piece of wood and that's why it's going to be so fun."

The joust will be held on Saturday afternoon. One of the major highlights is always the rodeo. It begins Tuesday night at 7 p.m. (CST) and caps off on Saturday.

Organizers expect Agribition's economic outputto be $37 million. About $20 million of that of that directly impacts the city of Regina.
