Mildness to continue for several more days

Unseasonably mild weather will continue for much of Saskatchewan this week, although things will take a turn to the nasty on the weekend.

Sharp downturn in temperatures expected by weekend

Mild temperatures are in the forecast for several more days, according to Environment Canada. (CBC)

Unseasonably mild weather will continue for much of Saskatchewan this week, although things will turn nasty on the weekend.

In Regina and southernareas, highs will remain above zero for most of the week, but by Saturday, the mercury is not expected to crack 20 C.

There will be similar mildness in Saskatoon and other central areas, although it will start cooling off on Thursday.

Northern areas will see colder temperatures hit soon, but on Mondayit's expected to remain unseasonably mild.
