Northwest Regina house explosion leads to drug charges

Regina police have charged three people in connection with a February house explosion in the city's northwest.

Police were called to the Cooper Crescent home Feb. 24, 2015 to find it fully engulfed in flames.Three people weretransportedto hospital.

The investigation revealed the home explosion was caused by illegal drug activity and charged a 58-year-old woman, and two men who are 29 and 19 years old.

Their charges include production and possession of a scheduled substance.Police saidthey anticipate more charges are forthcoming.
