Prince Edward delights royal fans in Moose Jaw

Prince Edward kicked off his three-day visit to Saskatchewan with a trip to Moose Jaw on Wednesday.

Prince Edward appeared to be enjoying himself as he visited 15 Wing and the Saskatchewan Dragoons on Wednesday. Today he's in Regina.

Prince Edward kicked off his three-day visit to Saskatchewan with a trip to Moose Jaw on Wednesday.

Edward is the colonel in chief of the Saskatchewan Dragoons military reserve unitand was in uniform at their headquarters.

He also went to see thecrowds outside,stopping to chat with people and sharing a few laughs.

He also toured and inspected the troops at the15 Wingairbase.

Today he's in Regina and Friday he'll be in Saskatoon and Swift Current. The itinerary is here:

  • Regina (Sept. 18): at 3:05 p.m., the Prince will be meeting the public outside Government House at 4607 Dewdney Ave.
  • Saskatoon (Sept. 19): at 9:45 a.m., residents can greet the Prince near the Saskatoon Farmers' Market, along Avenue A South near River Landing.
  • Swift Current (Sept 19): at 2 p.m., the Prince will take a walk outside the new All Saints Catholic Elementary School and cole Centennial School (2220 Woodrow Lloyd Place).
