Privatization is a word that tends to spark a lively debate in Saskatchewan, whether it's coffee row or CBC Saskatchewan's Political Panel.

This week, the Saskatchewan Party government introduced a law defining privatization as 50 per cent or more of a Crown being sold.

The NDP is strongly opposed and has accused Premier Brad Wall of wanting to dismantle SaskTel or other publicly owned corporations without first holding a vote or referendum.

On Friday, Leader-Post political columnist Murray Mandryk and CBC legislative reporter Stefani Langenegger weighed in during their weekly chat with Morning Edition host Sheila Coles.
