Roughriders switch to paperless season tickets

"Go green!" has taken on a whole new meaning with the Saskatchewan Roughriders switching to paperless seasontickets.

This year, seasonticket holders will get a scannable plasticcard instead of a booklet of tickets.

According to the Regina-based CFL club, there are a variety of advantages, including using less paper, convenience and improved ease of transferring tickets to friends and family.

It's still possible to print out hard copies, if that's your preference.

The first home game of the regular season is June 27 against Winnipeg.
