'Before I Die, I Want To...' exhibit challenges people in Saskatoon

The notes, written in chalk on a pitch black wall, vary from sincere and inspirational to funny and adventurous. But they all share something in common:they allanswerthe question, "Before I Die, I Want To..."

That question is the name of a new public art exhibit in Saskatoon and it has people stopping to take notice.

One of the walls under the Sid Buckwold Bridge has been painted black with white lettering spelling out the question.

People can share their answers using the coloured chalk provided on one of the blank lines.

Jeff Currie was biking along the river when he noticed the exhibit. It made him stop and pull out his phone to snap a photo.

"I think it's fantastic to see something going down like this in Saskatoon. You see all these cool things popping up travelling the world. The river front is something Saskatoon should be proud of."

Some of the answers include, "see a cure for cancer," "write a country song," and "make a difference."

Currie loves the location and hopes the exhibit is treated with respect throughout the summer.

"I'll cross my fingers that some punks don't graffiti overtop the nice black blanket essentially. I think it's great and it spruces up some ugly old bridge."
