Saskatoon bus driver wins $1.3M Smoke Signals jackpot

The city's newest millionaire hit the jackpot, winning over $1.3 million playing the slots at the Northern Lights Casino.

A busdriver from Saskatoon has hit the jackpot, winning over $1.3 million playing the slots.

According to the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, Paul Smith became Saskatoon's newest millionaire by playing the Smoke Signals slot machines at the Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert.

"Oh man what a win, I didn't know what I was going to do for retirement. Now I can pay off my mortgage and a few other debts," Smith said in a news release.

Smith said he now faces a tough decision:whether tobuy a Lincoln or a Cadillac SUV.
