Mourners gather at discovery site of Karina Wolfe's body

Today, families and supporters of Karina Wolfe gathered at the site just outside Saskatoon where police discovered her body.

Today, families and supporters of Karina Wolfe gathered at the site just outside Saskatoonwhere police discovered her body.

Wolfe's body was discovered on Nov. 14in a marshy area northwest of the city. She had been missing for the last five years.

The man charged in her death, 33-year-old Jerry Constant, voluntarily turned himself in to police four days before her discovery.

Supporters came to the site to offer support and lay flowers. Media were asked to leave the scene as family members performed a First Nations ceremony.

The area is a swampy area northwest of the city, just off Township Road 372, and the airport authority's boundary.

Constant has been charged with second-degree murder in the death. He will make his next court appearance in Saskatoon provincial courtnext week.
