Billboards bearing Guns N' Roses slogans suggest the rock band could be knockin' on Regina's door next year.

Billboardshinting at an upcoming concert recently appeared in the Queen City, stirring up rumours of a show at thenew Mosaic Stadium.

Evraz Place director of marketing and communications Paula Kohl would not confirm the band were planning to tour Saskatchewan.

But she did say a major concert announcement was expected to take place on Monday.

"I guess people can make their own conclusions," said Kohl.

Guns N' Roses have already released a series of world tour dates for 2017.

If the band is indeed touring Regina next year, it's likely they will play at the new Mosaic Stadium.

The $278-million, city-owned stadium had its first test-run on Oct. 1, when 16,500 ticket-holders gathered for a game between the University of Regina Rams and the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

The new venue's second test event is scheduled for this spring, but Kohl said it was not a Guns N' Roses concert.
