Man hospitalized after 2 vehicle collision in Saskatoon

A head-on collision between a car and a semi has left the 34-year-old male occupant of the carin critical condition in the hospital.

The collision has shut down a section of Circle Drive in Saskatoon.

Police say northbound traffic near College Avenue has been shut down while southbound traffic is restricted to the rightlane.

Members from the Collision Analyst Unit are on scene and traffic restrictions are expected to remain in place for the next few hours while they investigate.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
