Timeline of missing Kenaston-area woman Sheree Fertuck's last whereabouts

Sheree Fertuck was reported missing Dec. 8 when her semi was found abandoned in a gravel pit near Kenaston on Highway 15. Police are now ruling her disappearance a homicide.

Fertuck, 51, has been missing since Dec. 8

A Saskatoon woman's disappearance is now being investigated as a homicide according to Saskatchewan RCMP.

Here's a closer look at the timeline RCMP provided media about the events leading up to Sheree Fertuck's disappearance.

Monday Dec. 7, 2015

  • Fertuck leaves for work at 9:30 a.m. CST.
  • Fertuck is seen at work driving a semi at 10:30 a.m. CST.
  • Fertuck has lunch with family from 12 p.m. to1:30 p.m. CST.
  • Fertuckmisses an appointment at 8 p.m. CST.

Tuesday Dec. 8

  • Fertuck's semi is found abandoned at 7:30 a.m. CST.
  • Fertuck's family searches the gravel pit where her semi was found at 8 a.m. CST.
  • Fertuck is reported missing to RCMP at 10:26 a.m. CST.
  • RCMP locate Fertuck's cellphone, keys and coat in the abandoned semi at 11 a.m. CST.
  • RCMP initiate a search for Fertuckat 12 p.m. CST.
  • RCMP issue a media release about Fertuck's disappearance at 11 p.m. CST, stating Sheree was last seen leaving the family's farm yard just east of Kenaston, Sask., near Highway 15 on Monday Dec. 7.

Friday Dec. 11

  • Three days after she's reported missing, RCMP sendout a second media release stating they continue to search for Fertuckand they are being assisted by RCMP Major Crimes Unit South, Battleford General Investigations, RCMP Search and Rescue, Saskatoon Traffic Services and Saskatoon Police Dog Services.
  • Police advised locals in the area to check their property, any outbuildings and surrounding areas to see if they find any footprints or vehicle tracks or anything that appears out of the ordinary.
  • RCMP, Search and Rescue, Police Dog Services and the RCMP Dive Team conduct searches and the search efforts have been ongoing.

Monday April 11

  • Saskatchewan RCMPreport they are treating Fertuck's disappearance as a homicide as they believe she is dead.
  • Police said no suspects have been ruled out and that RCMP agencies will work together to search for Fertuck'sbody in certain areas around the province.
  • Police say there does not appear to be any obvious motive, and said there was no hint of criminal activity by or around Fertuck.
