Replay live chat: Should there be a noisy vehicle bylaw?

Replay the Saskatoon Morning live chat.

City councillor Randy Donauer is pushing for a noise bylaw to ticket loud vehicles. The Ward 5 councillor wants to put a stop to vehicles that have been modified with aftermarket parts to make excessive noise.

Donauer wants to create the bylaw after searching for ways to ease traffic noise at the three-way stop at the corner of Whiteswan Drive, Spadina Crescent and Pinehouse Drive. This follows his proposed the idea of installing a traffic circle at the corner to put a stop to cars starting and stopping.

Saskatoon Morning asked its audience: Is there a problem with noisy vehicles in Saskatoon? Should there be a loud vehicle bylaw? What do you think is the busiest and loudest street corner in the city?
