Saskatoon man charged with trafficking fentanyl

A 22-year-old Saskatoon manis facing accusations he sold the potent narcotic fentanyl.

The case began with a tip to the police drug squad.

Officers were told a suspect was selling drugs from a parking lot on the 2100 block of 8th Street East. They staked out the location and saw someone who looked like he was dealing drugs.

Police did a traffic stop in the area this weekend and arrested the man. He's charged with breaching his recognizance and trafficking fentanyl.
