COVID-19 outbreaks declared at 2 more schools in Saskatoon

Greystone Heights and cole St. Paul are the latest schools to experience COVID-19 outbreaks. According to the province, there have been 23 outbreaks in Saskatoon schools since the beginning of the school year.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has declared COVID-19 outbreaks at another two schools in Saskatoon.

On Wednesday, Saskatoon Public Schools was notified that an outbreak had been declared at Greystone Heights elementary school.

According to the school division, there have been four confirmed cases of COVID-19 connected with the school since classes began in September.

Classes at the school are continuing as scheduled.

On Tuesday, cole St. Paul was added to the list of provincial outbreaks. It's not known how many cases were found at the school, which is part ofthe Greater Saskatoon Catholic School division.

As of Wednesday, the public school division has reported 216 positive cases at 53 schools.

On Tuesday, outbreaks were declared at two other public schools in the city:Holliston and John Lake Schools.

According to the provincial outbreak list, there have been 23 outbreaks in Saskatoon schools since the beginning of the school year.
