We're the kind of people who don't like the bullies.- Veteran GeraldHoule

Vice-president Gerald Houle, 82, is one of the vets who will be honoured at the ceremony this weekend.

Houle says he signed up to fight along with his brothers back in 1951, and fought on the front lines.

"We're the kind of people who don't like the bullies to go after the weaker ones, so that's why we went to Korea to start with," Houle said.

Houle says he and his brother went back to Korea for a visit almost 20 years ago. During that trip, his brother met a woman he later married.

The disbandment will take place at the Legion in Minnow Lake on Sunday.

Vets from around the region are expected to attend, according to an organizer.
