The search for 73-year-old Gail Lynds of Sudbury continues, as a coroner investigates the death of her husband.

Greater Sudbury Police located the body of 77-year-old Boyd Lynds Wednesday afternoon. They are not considering his death a homicide.

Boyd's black truck was found abandoned on the side of Estaire Road in Wanup, Ont.,with signs of fire damage. The Lynds owned a property nearby on Sabourin Road.

Police are concentrating their search efforts for Gail in Wanup. They have deployed canine and marine units, and a helicopter from Ontario Provincial Police.

"We don't have any information about where Mrs. Lynds has gone," said Staff Sergeant Jordan Buchanan. "We've exhausted many avenues of the investigation trying to locate her and we've been unsuccessful."

Gail was last seen on Tuesday morning approaching the couple's 2012 blue Dodge Caravan at their Sudbury home near the Four Corners. Police are searching for thevehicle.

Boyd was last spotted on Monday around midnight in Wahnapitae.

Couple known as creatures of habit

"I saw them every day," said Leo Turpin, the superintendent of the couple's Sudbury apartment.

"Their routine was basically the same. They would go out early in the morning, maybe8:30or 9 a.m.They would be gone for a while then they would be in and out. Mrs. Lynds would go out for a walk."

The couple's change in routinehasalso intrigued police.

"People that do things consistently day after day for many, many years and suddenly stop doing that, that's very unusual," said Buchanan. "That caused a heightened concern immediately with police."

Anyone with information on Gail's whereabouts is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
