No foul play suspected in 'sudden death' in Sudbury, police say

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating after a man's body was found outside of an apartment building on Paris Street this morning.

Greater Sudbury Police are still investigating after a man's body was found outside of an apartment building on Paris Street this morning.

Officers responded to the call at about 8:15 a.m. Theman was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

At first, the death was called "suspicious" by police.

But, Staff Sgt. John Valtonen said there is now no foul play suspected, and police are treating the case as a sudden death.

According to a press release from police,the name of the deceased 77-year-old man will not be released out of respect for his family.
