The body of Boyd Lynds, 77, was discovered Wednesdayafternoon, police said, without giving the location. He had last been seen in the town of Wahnapitae on Monday about midnight.

Earlier today, police said they had narrowed the search for the missing couple to a property the Lynds own outside Wanup. A burned truck was found nearby, but there is no indication from police it is related to the death. It was hauled away by police, neighbours said.

Police are focusing their search efforts on locating the couple's 2012 blue Dodge Caravan. Gail, 73, was last seen walking toward the van at their Sudbury home near the Four Corners on Tuesday morning.

Police say the Lynds don't have any known medical conditions.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
