Volunteer instructorSeanBrierley, who currentlyruns a class for teens that teaches them about nutrition and fitness, says he tries to promote a message that will stick with his students for life.

"Especially with nutrition, it is easy to develop bad habits at an early age," said Brierley.

The class isfor people between the ages of 11 and15. Once they finish the course, they get full access to all the equipment at the YMCA and will take awayvaluable information to live a healthy life said Brierley.

"I'm just hoping they realise that you don't have to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger."

What's important is having a good quality of life, Brierley said and being physically active and watching what you eat will give help you meet that goal.
