Thunder Bay Police charge pedestrian in weekend collision

Thunder Bay Police say they've charged a pedestrian with interfering with vehicular traffic after a car hit him on the weekend.

The collision happened near May and Cameron streets atabout 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Thepedestrianwas taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with reportedly serious injuries.

On Monday, police said he wasstill inhospital, but was in fair condition.

They also confirmedthe pedestrian was a 25-year-old man from Thunder Bay.

CBC News had previously reported he was a teenage boy, based on information provided bypolice on Sunday.
