Adele rocks out in a Blue Jays jersey, brings fans on stage

After the Blue Jays set fire to the Rangers Thursday night with a 10-1 win in the first game of the ALDS, Adele rocked out at centre stage in a blue-and-white jersey for fans at the Air Canada Centre and even brought some on stage.

After the Toronto Blue Jays set fire to the TexasRangers Thursday night with a 10-1 win in the first game of their American League DivisionSeries, Adele rocked out atcentre stage in a blue-and-white jersey for fans at the Air Canada Centre.

The Grammy award-winningsinger belted out her hit Rolling in the Deep in an encore performance in a Blue Jays jersey.

Emblazoned across the back, of course, was the singer's name.

Needless to say, Torontonians were excited to see their two lovescollide.

TheJays now havethe edge in their best-of-five series.

The big win meant thecity was already ampedup on pride, and throwing one of the world's biggest starsinto the mix upped the excitement.

And for one lucky fan and her family, the experience with Adele even got more personal.

"It was an unreal experience," Nalini said.

"My hands were shaking. I thought I was going to faint on stage," her daughter Karishma added. "It was truly awesome."

She told them that the final songof the show was "Rolling in the Deep," which isKarishma's favourite song.

At the end of the show, Adele delivered on her promiseand told the crowd she was grateful.

"Thank you so much, Toronto. You're always amazing. Thank you for being so nice to me all the time," Adele said

Adele is in town for four sold-out shows this week, the last of which is onFriday night.

Then the singer leaves us in the depths of our despair and moves on to Washington D.C. to continue her tour.
