'Did she say yes?' Torontonians wonder at marriage proposal posted on condo windows

When it came time to get engaged, Gavin Cullinsdecided to go well beyond the standard marriage proposal.

A few hours later, Murphy's question was answered.

Breanne McCallion replied online that the proposal was from her boyfriendand that she said, "Yes" and was now engaged.

McCallion has been with Cullinsfor seven years, she says.

"I have been dropping some hints, so I think he finally picked up on it," said McCallion.

She said "yes" to a proposal posted on a condo building

Gavin Cullins describes how he came up with the idea to propose to his girlfriend Breanne McCallion on a condo building.

Cullinshad his proposal plan down for months.

"I was awake in bed one night just thinking about how I was going to propose and it just sort of clicked," said Cullins.

Cullinsis a construction worker and had access to the four emptyunits in the midtown condo.

"I knew that I was working in this building where we werehalf-way through occupying it, so there are a bunch of top floors that were empty," Cullins said.

"And it seemed like a good idea if we canput some signs upin the windows and we can light them up then we would see them from down on the street.".

Cullins and McCallion live around the corner from where the signs were put up. Cullins popped the question to McCallion while on a walk with their dog.

"I was shocked to say the least," said McCallion.

"He's not really a grand gesture kind of guy, but when he does do it he does it well."
