Toronto's Bata Shoe Museum has stepped aboard the Justin Bieber bandwagon, adding a pair of the Stratford, Ont., singer's shoes to its collection.

Dozens of young fans turned up at the museum Monday to see Bieber's size seven-and-a-half concert-worn high tops encased in glass.

The arrival of the show-stopping shoes helped kick off March break at the downtown museum.

"I love him so much, he's just so cute and everything," one breathless young fan told CBC News.

The 17-year-old heartthrobdonated his kicks to the Clothes Off Our Back Charity Auction, a California-basedgroup that donates money raised from auctioning celebrity clothing to children's charities. The shoe museum had the winning bid and as a result, hosted a horde of young fans on Monday.

In other Justin Bieber shoe news, students at his former high school were left disappointed after they failed to make a sale they had hoped for.

Bieber donated a pair of his purple sneakers to Stratford Northwestern Secondary School and they put one shoe up for auction on eBay.

However, it turns out the Alberta teen who made the winning bid of more than $5,000 forgot to do one crucial thing: ask her mom.
