Malvern neighbourhood gets sneak peek at Peeks Junior Carnival

The Junior Carnival will take place on July 22 starting with a parade starting at Malvern Community Centre and ending at Neilson Park. The Junior Carnival is a part of several events leading up to the Grande Parade on August 5 downtown.

Ahead of the Junior Carnival, a preview of costumes and performances was on display Tuesday

Ahead of Peeks Toronto Caribbean Junior Carnival, young participants previewed their costumes and performances for audiences in Scarboroughon Tuesday at MalvernTown Centre.

The Junior Carnival willtakeplace on July 22 with an opening ceremony at the McLevinAvenue entry to the MalvernCommunity Centre.

The parade will travelwest on McLevin Road, turn north on Neilson Road, ending at NeilsonPark, where the Junior Carnival showcase will take place.

The Junior Carnival is one of several the events taking place ahead of the Caribbean Carnival's Grande Parade on August 5.
