Subway service to Lawrence station on the Yonge line has resumed after a water main break forced the TTC to close the station during Monday's morning commute.

TTC announced the all clear just after 10:30 a.m.

Earlier in the day, trains travelling in both directions were not stopping at Lawrence as water had flooded the platform. The TTC was operating shuttle buses betweenEglinton and York Mills stations while crews worked to isolate and repair the broken pipe.

The problem at Lawrence came in addition to delays at the eastern end of Bloor-Danforth subway line, where shuttle buses were operating between Warden and Kennedy stations due to a mechanical problem. Regular service resumed at 7:30 a.m., but the problem led to residual delays.
