Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's annual community barbecue, dubbed Ford Fest, is back in Etobicoke for its 13th year.

It kicked off at 6 p.m. Friday at Centennial Park, located on Eglinton Avenue West, just west of Hwy. 427.

Ford told reporters he was expecting more than 20,000 people to attend the event, which includesburgers, a beer garden and amusement park rides.

The free bashhas in the past been hosted at Ford's suburban Etobicoke residence, with his brother, Coun. Doug Ford, and other members of the Fordfamily mingling with constituents and serving up food and beverages.

Earlier this summer, the mayor hosted a Ford Fest at Thomson Memorial Park in Scarborough, which saw as many 5,000 people in attendance.

Ford said he plans to hold three Ford Fest events next year.
