RCMP and York Police raided a Super Bowl party in Markham, Ont., Sunday night and broke up a multi-million dollar gaming enterprise.

RCMP and York Police raided a Super Bowl party in Markham, Ont., Sunday night and broke up a multi-million dollar gaming enterprise.

Police said the annual Super Bowl partywhich was allegedly run by organized crime groupswas by invitation only at Le Parc Banquet hall.

Several arrests were made while police executed a search warrant targeting illegal online gambling.

The investigation was conducted by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU)a joint police task force.

The CFSEU will hold a news conference tomorrow with more details on the takedown of the illegal gaming ring.
