Police have made no arrests or released the identity of the victims in Tuesday's shooting at Muzik nightclub, which left two dead.

Toronto police Chief Mark Saunders pleaded with "the thousands" who were at Muzik nightclub last Tuesday when two people were killed in two shootings to help them find the suspects.

Gunshots were fired inside the clublocated at Exhibition Placejust before 3 a.m. lastTuesday. DuvelHibbert, 23, fromBrampton, was fatally shot inside Muzik and ArielaNavarro-Fenoy, 26, of Toronto, died after being shot near Dufferin Gates. Three other people were sent to hospital with gunshot wounds.

Saunders called the man who was shot in the club "an intended target," adding that "the young girl was not involved in any way in any altercation."

"Thousands were there but we don't have their cooperation," Saunders said. "We're asking anyone with any knowledge (about the incident) to come forward. This was done in a public place and it's hard to keep thousands of people silent. I need them to talk."

Saunders said the silence "encourages those people who bring firearms to clubs. Their biggest fear is when people talk, and when they don't talk, they're encouraged to pull out guns."

Saunders says Muzik"is taking overt steps" to improve security at the venue.Ashooting at the same eventlast year sent a man to hospital.
