Suspect identified in Dundas Square shooting over the weekend

Police are looking for a man who allegedly fired multiple shots at Yonge and Dundas Square over the weekend.

Toronto Police are looking for a man who allegedly fired multiple shots atYonge and Dundas Square over the weekend.

The shooting happened early Sunday aftertwo men started having a "verbal confrontation," said police.

The suspect then drew a gun from his waistband and shot at the other man four times, police say.

Police said one of the shots flew across the streetand hit another man standing in Yonge-DundasSquare.

Both victims were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are searching for the suspect and are asking for the public's assistance.

The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old Toronto man.

He is described as fivefeetnineinches tall, 160 pounds with medium complexion. He has a tattoo with the word "Yoanis" written on his upper left arm, say police.
