Drugs and firearms seized in Windsor raid

A man and woman from Windsor both in their late 40s are facing numerous drugs and weapons charges following a police raid near the citys downtown.

A man and woman from Windsor both in their late 40s are facing numerous drugs and weapons charges following a police raid near the city's downtown.

Officers searched a residence in the 700-block of Brant Street (near Louis Avenue) on Wednesday around 5 p.m.

They says they recovered the following items from the home:

  • Two rifles, one loaded
  • Pellet long gun
  • 2 air pistols
  • 30 grams of methamphetamine
  • 1.4 grams of crack cocaine
  • 6.9 grams of cocaine
  • 12.2 grams of marijuana
  • 17 oxycodone Pills
  • 3 hydromorphone Pills
  • Bottle of methadone
  • Canadian and American currency
  • Cell phone
  • 2 sets of brass knuckles

A 48-year-old Windsor woman and a 47-year-old Windsor face a long list of drug trafficking and firearm related charges.
