Fire causes extensive damage to a home on Memorial Drive

Windsor Fire officials saysix people are displaced following last night's house fire onMemorial Drive, just east of Howard Avenue.

Crews say the blaze broke out around 8 p.m. in the basement but they're unsure what sparked the fire.

Damage is pegged at roughly $115,000.

Two cats died in the blazeand one person was treated for minor smoke inhalation.
