Highway 3 reopens after head-on collision

Highway 3 through Cottamhas reopenedafter a two-vehicle, head-oncollision.

The head-on collisioninvolved a commercial vehicle and a motorcycle. The motorcycle driver was sent to a local hospital withserious injuries.

The Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision around 10:30 a.m.

The road was closed in both directions between County Road 29 and County Road 27.

OPP technical collision investigators were on scene.

The road was closed for about four hours.
