Raymont's Berries: more than a century of strawberry fields

The Downtown Windsor Farmers' Market starts up for the season tomorrow, May 27. It's one of my favourite days of the year.

So for this week's story, I decided to speak to a vendor that is both old and new.

Raymont's Berries in Cottam is a relatively new addition to the downtown market they joined last season.

But that doesn't mean they're a new venture; far from it. Brad Raymont's family has been growing berries in Essex County for more than a century.
