Case of missing man in Sarnia now being investigated as a homicide, police say

The disappearance of a Sarnia man late last year has been determined to be a homicide, police say.

Multiple arrests made Friday in connection with the case: police

The disappearance of a Sarnia man late last year has been determined to be a homicide, police say.

In a news release on Friday, the Sarnia Police Service says its Criminal Investigations Division has been actively investigating the November 2023 disappearance of Bradley James Ogilvie, 41.

"As a result of this investigation, his disappearance has now been determined to be a homicide," the release reads.

Also on Friday, police made multiple arrests at various locations within the City of Sarnia in connection with the case, police said.

According to police, the investigation is still active and is expected to continue over the weekend.

Investigators believe there are others who have information relevant to this investigation and are encouraging them to come forward, police said in the release.

Police say they will release additional information on Monday.
