#UWindsorVotes aims to increase student voter turnout

Law students at the University of Windsor are taking the stage Monday to highlight party platforms in a mock federal leaders' debate.

Second-year law studentClaire Hopkins is organizing the debate. She saidthe event will raise general awareness of the election on campus.

"We're aware that students turn out to vote much less frequently than the rest of the population and so our votes campaign is designed to raise awareness and to inform students when and where they can vote,"Hopkins said.
